Our members wear three hats: they are co-owners, co-workers, and shoppers.

The three roles

Co-owner

SuperCoop belongs to its members and each member owns a share in the supermarket. A share is worth 100 Euros. Click here to find out how to join. If you cancel your membership, you will get back your share.

As a member, you can actively take part in the decision-making process. We all have one vote, irrespective of how many shares someone owns. This means everyone has a say in all important decisions, such as deciding on the concept of solidarity shifts.

Co-worker

Every member works for three hours every month. This not only keeps our prices fair, but it also creates a space to come together and equally take responsibility. Click here to find out more about our shift models.

There are plenty of options for you to participate, for example by stocking shelves or working as a cashier. If you want to join but are unable to work due to health issues or any other reason, come and talk to us and we’d be happy to work something out.

Shopper

SuperCoop offers healthy, local products from sustainable sources and at a fair price. We have approximately 4,000 products in stock and work with around 40 suppliers. SuperCoop members can even suggest new products to go on the shelves.
