Why such odd prices as €3.73 or €5.01?
These come from our fixed product mark-ups, which we use to cover our operating costs (rent, wages, purchasing, electricity, etc.).
- The fixed product mark-up is shown on every price label. This means you can always see the purchase price at which we source the products from our suppliers and producers
- For example, the lowest mark-up of 30% applies to our entire range of fresh fruit and vegetables
- The highest mark-up of 35% applies, for example, to products such as wine
- We apply a reduced mark-up of 15% to a selected range of popular staple foods, so that as many people as possible can afford to shop in our shop
